A signed rental agreement and fifty percent (50%) non-refundable deposit of the rental fee is due at the time of booking your event to reserve a date.

Full payment (100%) of the rental fee is due one month (30 days) prior to the event and is non-refundable.

Your fee includes event rental for a period beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m. the evening of your event.

Amplified outdoor music (with speakers facing the road) must end at 11:00 p.m. Any indoor music may continue until 11:30 p.m., with guests departing by 11:59 pm. The barn will be checked at 12:15 a.m. and will be locked at that time.

Renters are responsible for set-up and breakdown of all items brought to Edgewood Farm by themselves or vendors by 11:00 a.m. on the day following the event.

The maximum number of guests is 200, based on permitting by Sibley County. (Please Note: For a winter event, we require there is 170 guests or less.).

Parking in front of barn doors is limited to drop-off and pick-up only. Please keep all driveways and roads clear of vehicles.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the barn, cabin or ceremony site. Smoking is permitted in the designated area by the fire pit only (MN State Law requires to be a min of 25 feet from any structure.) A clean-up fee of $100 will be automatically deducted from damage deposit for any butts left on the ground. It is the renter’s responsibility to inform attendants, guests and vendors of the smoking policy.

There are no catering restrictions. Recommendations for local vendors are available upon request. A staging area is available for caterers however they must remove their own trash. PLEASE NOTE: Cooking or preparation of food is NOT allowed in this area. Food must be cooked in advance or in the caterer's food truck/trailer.

No sale of alcohol is allowed. Edgewood Farm does not apply an additional fee to allow you to provide your own beer and wine. If alcohol will be served, event insurance must cover liability of serving alcohol and a licensed bartender must be hired. All alcohol must be served from behind the bar. Please no glass beer bottles.

No RV’s, overnight camping or additional overnight guests in the barn or cabin. Affordable shuttle service recommendations are available and are highly recommended for events where alcohol will be served.

A refundable damage deposit and a copy of event insurance are due one month (30 days) before the event.

If the grounds and buildings are available the day before, arrangements can be made to begin styling/decorating early.
